Position Overview
The Greenhouse Sales Team Member supports customers with the selection, care, and purchase of annuals, tropicals, houseplants, herbs, and seasonal greenhouse plants. This role also assists with daily greenhouse operations, plant care, and merchandising to ensure a healthy, attractive, and easy-to-shop environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with plants, assisting customers, and contributing to a collaborative retail team.

Primary Responsibilities
· Greet and assist customers with the selection and purchase of greenhouse plants, including annuals, tropicals, houseplants, herbs, and vegetables
· Provide basic guidance on plant care, watering, light requirements, and seasonal maintenance
· Support daily plant care tasks including watering, deadheading, grooming, and monitoring for pests or disease
· Assist with receiving, unloading, tagging, and stocking incoming plant material
· Help maintain visually appealing plant displays and a clean, organized greenhouse sales area
· Assist with merchandising and light display setup following Weston Nurseries standards
· Collaborate with greenhouse leadership and other departments as needed to support overall store operations
· Maintain a safe, clean, and customer-friendly shopping environment

Qualifications & Requirements
· Interest in horticulture with a focus on greenhouse plants; prior experience is a plus but not required
· Familiarity with annuals, tropicals, houseplants, herbs, or succulents preferred
· Strong communication skills and ability to speak and understand English
· Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work well in a team environment
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Dependable, punctual, and hardworking with a positive attitude
· Ability to work in an all-season greenhouse environment
· Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
