Job Posting: Cashier
Weston Nurseries is seeking a friendly, reliable team member to provide outstanding customer service to our walk-in customers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong multitasking skills and a positive, professional attitude. This is a part-time role requiring at least one weekend day.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet customers entering the establishment
- Answer questions and provide accurate product and service information
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout areas
- Process payments via cash, check, credit/debit card, gift card, and coupons
- Stock shelves and clearly mark prices on products
- Manage incoming phone calls and route as needed
- Perform general plant care and maintenance
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Positive, professional manner when interacting with customers and coworkers
- Attentive and committed to providing excellent customer service
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work at least one weekend day
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual

- Pay Range: $15 – $20 BOE
