Position Overview
The Perennial Sales Team Member plays an important role in supporting customers with the selection, care, and purchase of perennial plants while maintaining the health, organization, and presentation of the perennial sales area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on plant care, working outdoors, and engaging with customers to help them succeed in their gardens.

Primary Responsibilities
· Greet and assist customers with the selection and purchase of perennial plants, including add-on sales of related products
· Provide basic guidance on perennial plant care, spacing, seasonal interest, and maintenance
· Assist customers in other garden center departments as needed to ensure a positive customer experience
· Unload and receive incoming perennial plant shipments following established procedures
· Assist with plant placement, tagging, and merchandising to create an organized and visually appealing sales area
· Maintain plant health through watering, deadheading, pruning, and monitoring for pests or disease
· Remove plant material that does not meet Weston Nurseries’ quality standards
· Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized sales area daily

Qualifications & Requirements
· Interest in horticulture with a focus on perennials; prior experience is a plus but not required
· Familiarity with perennial varieties, botanical names, and basic plant care preferred
· Strong communication skills and ability to speak and understand English
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
