Position Overview
The Nursery Sales Team Member plays an essential role in supporting customers with the selection, care, and purchase of trees and shrubs while maintaining the health, organization, and presentation of the nursery sales area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, assisting customers with landscape-scale plant material, and continuing to grow their horticultural knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities
· Greet and assist customers with the selection and purchase of trees and shrubs, including add-on sales of related products
· Provide knowledgeable guidance on basic tree and shrub care, spacing, planting, and maintenance
· Support customers and assist with sales in other garden center departments as needed
· Unload and receive incoming tree and shrub shipments following established procedures
· Assist with plant placement, tagging, and merchandising to ensure an organized and attractive sales area
· Maintain plant health through proper watering, pruning, staking, mulching, and monitoring for pests or disease
· Remove plant material that does not meet Weston Nurseries’ quality standards
· Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized outdoor sales area daily

Qualifications & Requirements
· Interest in horticulture with a focus on trees and shrubs; prior experience is a plus but not required
· Familiarity with tree and shrub identification, botanical names, and basic plant care preferred
· Strong communication skills and ability to speak and understand English
· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
