Position Overview
The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for the safe and professional operation of Weston Nurseries delivery vehicles while providing excellent customer service at job sites and store locations. This position supports daily operations through timely deliveries, safe loading and unloading of materials, routine vehicle inspections, and maintenance of company equipment.
This role is ideal for a safety-focused, dependable professional who enjoys working independently while representing Weston Nurseries in a courteous and professional manner.

Primary Responsibilities
• Provide timely, safe, and courteous delivery of plant material, hardgoods, and related products • Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles in compliance with DOT and company standards • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as required • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness • Maintain assigned vehicle and company equipment in good working condition • Address minor mechanical issues when appropriate and report maintenance needs promptly
• Ensure proper maintenance and protection of assigned company property • Maintain all required licenses and certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and local or federal authorities • Provide professional and friendly customer service when delivering materials to job sites • Work collaboratively with Operations, Yard, and Sales teams to support daily business needs • Perform additional operational duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Qualifications & Requirements
• Valid CDL Class A License • Safe driving record and commitment to DOT compliance • 2+ years of commercial driving experience • Ability to safely load, unload, and transport materials • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in varied weather conditions • Strong safety awareness when working around trucks, equipment, and job sites • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Professional, customer-friendly communication skills • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance • Willingness to work overtime during peak seasonal periods—
