Hydrangea, Oakleaf

More compact growing than the species. Upright flower heads, in June, with larger and more abundant sterile white flowers that turn pink as they mature. Blooms on old wood. Prune immediately after flowering. Pruning too late in the season will remove next year's flower buds. Adaptable to the coastal garden.
