Mounding plant with large, gold, wavy leaves that will take full sun to full shade. In full sun plant must have reliable moisture. Some afternoon sun would be appropriate. Lavender flowers. Hostas are an outstanding foliage plant well suited for the shade in any moderately fertile soil. They are very drought tolerant once established but prefer consistent moisture. They perform well in coastal gardens. Divide in spring or summer if plants become congested. Part shade to shade. Spacing: 24".
