Hellebore

Nodding chartreuse-yellow flowers with variable burgundy accents, late winter, above large, leathery, dark green leaves. Part of the Mardi Gras Series. A long-lived perennial that resents disturbance. Prefers a neutral to alkaline soil with consistent moisture. Deer resistant. Hellebores were the 2005 Perennial Plant of the Year. Spacing: 24".
