Deciduous hybrids of the species. Summer flowering. Wide and upright with rounded dark green foliage. Orange to pink blossoms for two weeks or more in July. Native to Georgia and performs well in New England's climate. Our choice of seedling plants or cultivars. PP -- This cultivar or species has been selected as a "Proven Performer" by the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society and performs consistently well in USDA Zones 5 and 6 Massachusetts landscapes.
