Azalea, White Kyushu

Miniature evergreen species. Extremely compact low growing mound with tiny pure white flowers, late May. Miniature rounded leaves, bright green in summer, bronzy in autumn, are partially retained in winter. Very choice. PP -- This cultivar or species has been selected as a "Proven Performer" by the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society and performs consistently well in USDA Zones 5 and 6 Massachusetts landscapes.
