Azalea

Dwarf evergreen. Compact growing and wide spreading, forming a low mound wider than high. Heavy-textured dark rose-red flowers cover the plant in late May. Rounded glossy green leaves turn purple-red in fall, some remaining on branches in winter. Performs well in full sun. (-13°F, UM)
