Azalea

Deciduous. Summer flowering. Vigorous, but relatively slow growing. Red buds in late June open to slightly fragrant light pink flowers with an orange glow. Narrow foliage is bronzy when first emerging, becomes green and vertically oriented and displays silvery undersides. Bronze-red autumn colors.
HERITAGE: Selected in the 1980s probably (cumberlandense x arborescens)
