Astilbe or Perennial Spirea

First pure white Astilbe. Plume-like silvery white flowers, July--August. Clumps of very attractive, finely divided dark green foliage. Requires moist rich soil. Adaptable to the seashore garden. Part shade. Spacing: 18--24".
