Columbine

Flowers are a lovely blend of mixed colors, June, on a compact plant. Attracts hummingbirds. Likes rich, well drained soil. Mulch plants from late fall to early spring to prevent heaving as soil freezes and thaws. Does well in gardens near the shore. Rarely severely damaged by deer. Spacing: 10–15".
