Starflower or Blue Star

Very fine, dark green needle-like foliage that turns bright yellow in fall. Clusters of steel-blue, star-shaped flowers, May–June. Yellow fall foliage. Grows best in moist partial shade but will tolerate full sun. Rarely severely damaged by deer. Spacing: 24–30".
