Bottlebrush Buckeye

A vigorous growing, suckering and clump forming plant ideal for large areas, spreading many times as wide as high. Showy white flowers on large upright panicles in July. Dark green compound leaves turn yellow in fall. Large brown seeds are released from yellowish capsules in late September, immediately taken by squirrels. Disease resistant. Tolerates shady areas and dry soils. All A. parviflora are deer resistant. Native to the southeastern USA, and considered one of the choicest plants of the type in this region.
