Maple, Sentry Sugar

Extremely narrow and upright with very narrow branch angles, this cultivar can be maintained at less than 6 ft wide. Dark green foliage turns shades of yellow-orange in autumn. The unusually narrow and upright silhouette provides winter interest. Ideal for an unusual windbreak or hedge. Sugar maples are the native species that has made New England world-renown for autumn foliage. A long-lived tree when properly sited, sugar maples should not be planted where they will be exposed to salt. Full sun.
