Paeonia intersectional hybrid 'Kopper Kettle'

Peony

30--36". Semi-double flowers with shades of red, yellow and orange, that appear copper from a distance. Intersectional hybrids are crosses between herbaceous and tree peonies that expand the peony color palette to yellows on a plant with the flower and foliage of a tree peony and the stem strength of an herbaceous peony. Unlike the tree peony, which retains its woody stems during the winter, the intersectional hybrid will die back to the ground. Faster growing than tree peonies. They bloom late spring to early summer and occasionally rebloom later in the season. Like all peonies, they prefer rich, well drained soils. An extremely long-lived plant and staple of the herbaceous/mixed border. Deer resistant. Full sun. Spacing: 30—36".
