Gallery Exhibit of Works by Ellen Hurley, Sue Lippman, and Carol Xenos

An exhibit of oil paintings by Hurley, Lippman and Xenos, local artists from Bedford and Chelmsford. Their works are representational and feature still lifes and landscapes.

Hurley, Lippman and Xenos are students of national-award winning Westford artist Kathy Cooper.
Hurley of Bedford, Mass. has studied with Cooper for six years. She has participated in plein air workshops conducted by New York artists William Duffy and Marla Korr, studied still life with New York artist Leah Lopez and the portrait with Connecticut-based artist Christopher Zhang. She also has taken oil painting and drawing courses at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School and the DeCordova Museum.
Lippman of Chelmsford, Mass. has a lifetime commitment to the fine arts. The former school teacher has been studying with Cooper for five years. She illustrated a book on the Mills girls sold in the Lowell National Parks. She studied Art in New York City at many art venues including the Pratt Institute and in many workshops throughout the United States.
Xenos of Chelmford is about to start her fourth year with Cooper. She has participated in a number of plein air workshops and studied Fine Art at UMass Dartmouth. It is Cooper she attributes for her maturation as an artist. She studied still life with Leah Lopez and painted plein air on Monhegan Island in Maine.
The exhibit is open to the public and all pieces are for sale.
