Container Garden Design

Weston Nurseries Seasonal Services Program

Our aim is to create unique, living expressions of beauty, transforming space so it looks and feels like it happened that way naturally.

Sometimes it’s as simple as an array of fresh cut flowers, while other times call for a grander scale. Our designers have the expertise to craft something that inspires a second look that is fitting, timely, and lasting. Whether it’s where you live, where you work, or where you play, our creations bring a smile to your lips.

We work hard to establish lasting relationships with our clients. We want you to think of us when an entryway looks too plain, or your dinner table needs something to gather your feast around. We’ll help adorn a memorable occasion, and we can help you make the right decisions when it comes to installing the garden your dream house needs to feel complete.

We would love the opportunity to work with you — we know you won’t be disappointed!

Please pick up a brochure at the Garden Center or call 508-293-8091 to schedule a consultation.

Bulb Program
Bulbs mean spring- the sudden bloom of snowdrops and crocus among lingering snow, the naturalized clusters of daffodils along stone walls and beautiful gardens adorned with candy toned tulips. No matter how contrived the planting scheme, bulb plantings look natural in the landscape and are the perfect blooms to kick off the garden year.

To get a nice spring display you have to start in autumn, which means now! Planning, soil amending, digging and planting-a lot of work you say? And then there is the post bloom work-deadheading, tidying up the leaves and stems and cutting back spent blossoms. And the questions - how deep do you plant, what to add to the soil, how to keep deer and the chipmunks away, when to cut back, how to stagger blooms, and which bulbs are good for naturalizing?

We offer a comprehensive new program to help you with all your bulb needs. Our staff is there from start to finish. Designers help you select the combinations you desire and installation specialists provide the muscle and know-how to get them in the ground successfully. In addition to the work in the fall, our Ongoing Care team will return post-bloom to be sure the bulbs get the attention they need.

A Designer will:
• Help you select bulb areas for naturalization or adornment
• Design a planting with longevity, color palette, bloom stagger and variety
• Amend planting site, install and pest proof
• Visit post bloom to ensure health of planting

Container Garden Design

Celebrate the change of seasons in New England with our signature container service. Beautify the entry of your home, your backyard terrace, or your roof deck garden with a seasonal display of color and texture. Our designers use only the highest quality plant material and premium soil mixes. We offer a large selection of vessels from contemporary to traditional, from weather resistant to custom-designed. We want your planters to look great — four seasons of the year.

Seasonal Borders
Our seasonal gardens incorporate annuals, woody shrubs, vegetables, and perennials. Some are wild and natural, others sweet and formal. We can simply add seasonal color to your existing landscape or create a new mixed border — one which provides year-round interest.

Holidays & Events
Beginning with a site visit and a discussion with you, we aim to create a visual story unique to any event or occasion. When working with any natural material such as flowers or plants, we strive to unite the indoors and out. We feel that floral design is at its best when it balances the spirit of the season, the character of the venue, and the client’s particular vision.

Ongoing Care
The areas surrounding your home should bring joy to you, your family, and your neighbors. At Weston Nurseries, we’re committed to helping you make that goal a reality. We offer maintenance programs for all gardens — big, small, or contained. Weekly maintenance, seasonal updates, ornamental pruning, restorations — let Weston Nurseries be your personal gardener.

Garden Mentoring
Want to do it yourself, but not sure where to start? Let our mentoring team help you become a better gardener. We’ll introduce you to new ideas and practices that are beautiful, practical, and environmentally responsible. With our experience and knowledge, we can help you determine what plants and flowers are right for your garden, offer you a variety of safe alternatives to non-organic practices, and work with you to develop a plan for the management of your natural spaces.
