Hopkinton, MA -- Weston Nurseries has hired Rene Fontaine to the position of Commercial Sales Manager. Rene has more than two decades of experience as a sales manager in the office supplies industry and has an impressive track record of developing sales teams, instituting new initiatives, and acquiring new customers. At Weston, Rene will be in charge of a five person sales staff that sells to landscape professionals throughout the region. Weston Nurseries has also hired Melissa Oothout to the Garden Center Sales staff. Melissa had a huge following of loyal customers at Lexington Gardens in Lexington, Massachusetts where she was employed for nine years. At Weston, Melissa is Annuals Sales Supervisor, responsible for buying in and managing the Annuals, Vegetables and Herbs as well as the Wildflowers at Weston floral department. She also manages the Custom Potting service for homeowners and retailers in the Greater Boston area.
