FAQ About the Rewards Program

 

Q: How many points do I have to earn to get Rewards dollars?

A: You earn 1 point for every $1.00 you spend. Every 100 points awards you $5.00 on your card that you can redeem during specified times of the year. (We occasionally DOUBLE your points during special times, so be sure to read the enewsletters and check the promotions page on this website often.) There is a limit of $300 in Rewards dollars for any redemption period. 

 

Q: What restrictions are there on how my Weston Nurseries Rewards Program points can be earned?

A: Points cannot be earned on gift card purchases, delivery or labor charges, Landscape Services, or purchase and/or delivery of bulk materials. Points are awarded at point of sale and cannot be awarded after the sale is complete or for previous purchases. 

Q:  I am a member of the Mass. Horticultural Society and get a 10% discount. Can I make purchases with a Rewards card and receive the MHS discount?

A:  Yes. You may also use apply your Rewards dollars to purchases made with your MHS discount. (This applies to all members discounts listed on our website.)

 

Q: Can I earn points on an In-store Landscape Consultation

A: No, points cannot be earned on any Weston Nurseries services, which would include In-store Landscape Consultations.

 

Q: Can I earn points on an At-home Landscape Design and Installation job? 

A: No, points cannot be earned on any Weston Nurseries services, which would include At-home Landscape Design Consultations and labor. Points can be earned on the materials purchased for an installation job, but not on the labor portion.

 

Q: When can I redeem my Rewards dollars? When will the next redemption period be? 

A: Redemption periods are March 1-April 30, July 1-August 31, and November1-December31. 

 

Q: What restrictions are there on how my Rewards dollars can be used?

A: Rewards dollars cannot be used to purchase gift cards. They can be used to purchase sale items or discounted items and anything else, whether goods or services. There is a limit of $300 in Rewards dollars for any redemption period.

 

Q: What happened to my points if I didn't redeem my Rewards dollars during the redemption period?

A: All points that have been converted to Rewards dollars must be spent during the redemption period. At the end of the redemption period, any unspent Rewards dollars and the points that were converted to those dollars will be lost.

 

Q: What if I didn't come to the store in July and August to spend my Rewards dollars? Can I spend the Rewards dollars now or at Christmas time?

A: No. Rewards dollars are only available at specified times. If you did not spend them during the specified redemption period, they are lost.  

 

Q: What does the statement "Unconverted points carry over to the next conversion period." mean?

A: Any points that fall below the 100 point threshold cannot be converted into Rewards dollars. So if you earned less than 100 points, they will remain in your account until the next conversion period. 

 

Q: Can I continue to earn points during the redemption periods?

A: Yes, you will continue to earn points on eligible items all year. This is true even if you use your Rewards dollars to purchase these items.

 

Q: Do the points I earn during a redemption period get converted to dollars that I can spend during that same redemption period?

A: No. The points that you earn during a redemption period will accrue toward the NEXT redemption period, and get converted then, along with any carry-over unconverted points.


Q: What should I do if I lose my Rewards card?

A:  Contact us as quickly as you are aware of the loss.  We will have to assign you a new card, and you will have to start over in building your points. 
Q: What happens if my card is lost or stolen after the points have been converted to Rewards dollars? 
  
A: Unfortunately, in this situation, there is nothing we can do to recover the Rewards dollars.  You will need to contact us to be assigned a new card and start over in accumulating your points for the next Redemption period.
A:  As soon as you are aware of the loss of your card, please call us at 508-293-8091 or come to the Garden Center. We will have to assign you a new card, and you will have to start over in building your points.

 


Q:
What happens if my card is lost or stolen after the points have been converted to Rewards dollars? 

A: Unfortunately, in this situation, there is nothing we can do to recover the Rewards dollars. As soon as you are aware of the loss of your card, please call us at 508-293-8091 or come to the Garden Center. We will have to assign you a new card, and you will have to start over in building your points.
